Potentially hotter than a ghost pepper. I think these ones may be hotter than my ghosts but when pepper's are this hot it is hard to tell. Update: this is now considered the world's hottest.

Yellow Bhut Jolokia 

 

I grew a few of these plants and got a ton of peppers. They seems on par for heat with the red Bhuts but I liked the flavor of the reds more. My yellows ripened faster than the reds which is useful in Colorado. Given I did not like they flavor as much, I think I will go with one plant next year.

Chocolate Bhut Jolokia

 

These peppers took the longest to ripen than any other peppers I grew this year. One plant froze with 3/4 still green. The peppers were yummy. They seemed hotter to the taste than the reds. Mine had a thinner wall than the typical red.

Yellow 7 pot

 

My yellow 7 pots were ripping hot and huge. Some of them looked like minnie lemons. The plant was also a good producer.

Thai dragons (ornamental)

I have seen a number of plants advertised as "Thai dragons."  I grew these from seeds. The flavor was pretty neutral good if you just want to add heat to something.

White Habanero 

Don't even remember where I got this plan that was labeled "white habanero." Flavor was unremarkable and output was very low. I think my plant may have been sick.

What is wrong with this pepper? About half the leaves are like this.

The leaves of some of my C. Chinense are starting to look like waffles so I added a couple of palm-fulls of bonemeal to the earthboxes. I dug it into the top inch or so and added some to the water reservoir.
