Near death

When I returned from a week and a half out of town, my peppers were in bad shape. They got an infestation of a small bug that turns to a small fly. Also, I think they were in need of water. I cut them way back and applied Pyrethrin.

The last tomatoes

Today I planted the last of the tomatoes in
the back yard. I dug a very deep hole, removed all the lower leaves from a
tomato Eliza and I bought in a one gallon pot from Paulino's. And buried a good
portion of the stem. They did not have tomatill0s so next year we have to remember to get them early in the season.

More tomatoes

Finished planting the tomatoes on the side yard. Several I started from
seed and one janet got from the botanic garden's plant sale. Fertilized
with a couple stakes and a handful of 3-4-6. Next year I'll just do the 3-4-6
they say that is better early in the season to grow roots. They also said
to pick off any flowers.
